Nephrology Nursing Journal CNE Credit Now Available with Click of a Mouse!
Readers of the Nephrology Nursing Journal
are now able to take continuing nursing education (CNE) posttests online and
submit the results electronically with the click of a mouse! This
special benefit began with the publication of NNJ’s February 2003
issue.
By
logging on to the NNJ site, readers will be able to submit a completed
posttest electronically by clicking onto the “Complete the Activity
Online” link for each CE article. Viewers will find a list of all CE
articles with current expiration dates by clicking onto the Continuing Education link found on the main NNJ home page. PDF files of all CE articles are available to read prior to submitting the posttests.
Readers
of course will also be able to continue reading and submitting CE
articles and posttests in the traditional manner. Readers can download
both the test and article online, and mail in the posttest by following
the online instructions; or subscribers can read the article in the
journal itself and mail in the posttest by following the printed
instructions.
The
automatic submission of posttests online is being provided as a service
through a partnership between ANNA and the Hypertension, Dialysis and
Clinical Nephrology (HDCN) web site (HDCN.com). HDCN.com provides
physicians and nurses up-to-date, selected information on renal
disorders and their treatment (hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis), as
well as hypertension, dialysis, and clinical nephrology topics. The
site is administered by John Daugirdas, MD, a Professor of Medicine at
the University of Illinois in Chicago who also serves as the director
of HDCN.
Nephrology Nursing Journal
is a refereed clinical and scientific resource that provides current
information on a wide variety of subjects to facilitate the practice of
